- Check that your laptop and adapter work and you are able to project your slides
Technical Stuff
- Bring your own laptop for all presentations.

- The resolution of the workshops, tutorials and doctoral symposium projectors will be 1200x800.
- All attendees will have access to the venue's (UNLV) free guest Wifi.
- There are no quality of service guarantees, so please do not rely on this.
- Skype and other live conferencing services may or may not work.
- Back up your presentation, preferably to the cloud and on a USB stick/drive.
- Download all large files and videos that you will be using to your laptop, and back them up to a USB stick/drive
- Do not rely on being able to live stream videos, even from Youtube.
- You should have all demos recorded and available on your laptop and backed up to a USB stick/drive.
- Do not rely on the internet at the venue to do your demos.
