The annual ACM/IFIP/USENIX Middleware conference is a major forum for the discussion of innovations and recent advances in the design, construction and use of middleware systems. Following the success of past conferences in this series, the 18th International Middleware Conference will be the premier event for middleware research, technology and experimentation in 2017. Highlights of the conference will include a high quality single-track technical program, invited speakers, an industrial track, panel discussions involving academic and industry leaders, poster and demonstration presentations, a doctoral symposium, and workshops.


CALL FOR WORKSHOP PAPERS

As with previous Middleware conferences, Middleware 2017 will host a number of high quality workshops! All workshops are now accepting submissions. Please refer to the workshops page for submission deadlines, topics, and contact information.


CALL FOR DEMOS AND POSTERS

Middleware 2017 will provide a forum for live software demonstrations and innovative work in progress posters of middleware applications, systems, and tools. Demos could take a wide and open-ended variety of forms, and are encouraged for both early prototypes and mature technology. Poster sessions will provide an informal setting for presenters to communicate ideas or results and also to collect feedback from attendees.

CALL FOR DOCTORAL SYMPOSIUM PAPERS

The doctoral symposium will provide an informal and welcoming atmosphere in which early- and late-stage Ph.D. students will have the opportunity to discuss their planned goals, their progress and achievements, the key research challenges to overcome, as well as software and tools they are developing. Participating students will receive valuable feedback from senior researchers and experts from both industry and academia. The symposium will also be an opportunity for meeting and sharing experiences with other Ph.D. students who are addressing similar topics.
